Do you know how many verses about adoption are in the Bible?
MORE THAN 100! It's true! God talks again and again about how much He loves adoption and how, actually, we are all adopted once we ask Him to live in our hearts forever.
Some of the verses include:
"I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."
"To all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God."
"God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure."
And even, "God sets the lonely in families."
So next time someone asks you if you were adopted, you can say, "Yes! And so were you!"
